| Describe |
A directory (or folder) is a location for files. It is a more organized
way of storing files and keeping things separated on your hard disk. The following procedures explain how to make a directory in different environments including DOS, Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. Either version of Windows can use the DOS method also. Of course, if the directory already exists, you don't need to make it again. If you try, a message will appear telling you it can't be done. |
